Good security is invisible until it isn't — and great architects make sure it never has to be. At BISTEC Global, our family of engineers designs and governs security architecture for enterprise clients across Australia, the UK, and beyond.

We're looking for a security architect who takes real pride in secure-by-design thinking and the people who depend on it every day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect — define and maintain security reference architectures across cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Advise — act as a trusted security advisor to development, delivery, and platform teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
  • Govern — review and approve solution designs against Zero Trust, least privilege, and defence-in-depth principles.
  • Elevate — drive measurable improvements in Microsoft Secure Score, Defender, and Sentinel maturity.

What We're Looking For :

  • 7+ years in information security, with strong experience in security architecture roles.
  • Has hands-on experience with Azure and the Microsoft security suite, including Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Intune, and Lighthouse.
  • Solid grounding in Zero Trust, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF 2.0.
  • Confident, clear communication — comfortable advising senior stakeholders.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, AZ-500, or AZ-305 are a valued bonus.
