SECURITY ARCHITECT

Develop, enforce and follow up on enterprise information security architecture practices & solutions. Serves as a security expert in application development, database design and platform efforts, helping project teams comply with enterprise and IT security policies, industry regulations, and best practices.

Job Description\:

Security Architecture

1.Work closely with other functional area architects and security specialists to ensure adequate security solutions are in place throughout all systems and platforms to mitigate identified risks sufficiently, and to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.

2.Oversee the development and maintenance of the information security strategy.

3.Ensure maintaining the effective translation of the security architecture into secured solutions in alignment with the approved security architectures and that they are in place throughout all IT systems and platforms.

4.Define the alignment of security governance with Architecture governance.

5.Research, design and advocate new technologies, architectures, and security products.

6.Develop the business, information and technical artefacts that constitute the enterprise information security architecture and solutions.

7.Analyse business impact and exposure, based on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities and risks.

8.Communicate security risks and solutions to business and IT staff.

Day-to-day Operations

9.Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the IT Architecture & Strategy department to ensure continuity of work.

Policies, Processes and Procedures

10.Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Compliance

11.Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks.
