Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Design: Define, design, and implement end-to-end security architecture across cloud, infrastructure, and enterprise applications.
- Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure architectural alignment with financial regulatory frameworks, specifically APRA CPS 234.
- Tech Stack Optimisation: Work closely with a modern security ecosystem, leveraging Microsoft enterprise controls, CrowdStrike (EDR/XDR, Next-Gen SIEM migration), and modern DLP frameworks.
- Pragmatic Security Governance: Collaborate across IT risk, infrastructure, and GRC teams to integrate security into business initiatives early without creating unnecessary friction.
- Scale & Strategy: Help build out frameworks and workflows as the security function scales across the broader organization.
- Hands-on Architecture Experience: Strong experience in security architecture design without being confined to a narrow, hyper-specialised niche.
- Financial Services/Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of APRA CPS 234 and banking/financial regulatory requirements.
- Modern Tech Ecosystem: Familiarity with Microsoft enterprise security tools and advanced EDR/XDR/SIEM solutions (CrowdStrike experience is highly regarded).
- Adaptable & Collaborative Mindset: A proactive "can-do" attitude. Someone who is ready to take ownership, wear multiple hats, and solve real world problems.
