ICT & Project Professionals - Expressions of Interest
We are actively seeking expressions of interest from experienced ICT, Data, Infrastructure, Cyber Security, and Project Management professionals for upcoming contract opportunities with various Federal Government clients. These roles sit within high-performing environments supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure, modern digital services, and major transformation initiatives.
Eligibility
Australian Citizenship is required for these roles.
An active Australian Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1, NV2, or PV) is not required but is an advantage.
Roles available Australia wide, however many are Canberra-based so ability to work out of Canberra may be advantageous (on-site or hybrid requirements may apply).
About the roles
We are building a talent pipeline of skilled professionals to join dynamic project teams and business-as-usual (BAU) operations. We are looking for specialists across the following domains:
Cyber Security & SecOps: Security Operations Centre (SOC) Analysts, Penetration Testers, Incident Responders, Security Architects, Identity & Access Management (IAM) Specialists, and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Assessors.
Systems Administration & Platform Engineering: Windows/Linux Systems Administrators, Active Directory/Entra ID Specialists, VMware/Hyper-V Administrators, and Enterprise Messaging/M365 Engineers.
Network Administration & Engineering: Network Engineers, Firewall/Security Gateway Administrators, SD-WAN Specialists, Network Architects (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto), and Unified Communications Engineers.
Cloud & Infrastructure Architecture: Cloud Engineers (Azure, AWS, Multi-Cloud), Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Specialists, Solution Architects, and Enterprise Infrastructure Architects.
Software Engineering & Development:
Languages: C#, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Go (Golang), Rust, SQL.
Frameworks/Libraries: .NET, React, Angular, Vue, Next.js, Django, Flutter.
ERP & Enterprise Solutions: Functional and Technical Consultants across ServiceNow, SAP, and Salesforce.
Project & Program Management: Project Officers, Project Managers, Program Managers, Scrum Masters, and Change Managers.
Software Testing: Functional, Non-Functional, Performance, and Automation Testers.
Design & Research: User Researchers, Service Designers, and UI/UX Professionals.
Key responsibilities
Depending on your specialisation, responsibilities will include:
Administering, patching, and maintaining enterprise server environments (Windows Server, RHEL, Linux) and virtualisation platforms.
Designing, provisioning, and securing complex enterprise network topologies, switches, routers, firewalls, and secure gateways.
Monitoring, detecting, and responding to cyber security incidents, conducting vulnerability assessments, and implementing mitigation strategies.
Designing, developing, and deploying resilient cloud architectures, automated CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Implementing and hardening systems in strict accordance with Australian Government cyber security requirements (ISM, Essential Eight, PSPF).
Leading or supporting the delivery of complex ICT infrastructure rollouts, core capability modernisations, and software delivery sprints.
Developing technical artefacts, system documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and architecture design records.
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience in your respective discipline (Infrastructure, Systems/Network Admin, Cyber Security, Development, Architecture, PMO, or Testing).
Hands-on technical experience with relevant enterprise toolsets, platforms, or hardware ecosystems.
Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities within complex, secure enterprise networks.
Demonstrated understanding of Australian Government security and governance frameworks:
Information Security Manual (ISM)
Essential Eight Maturity Model
Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF)
ACSC Guidelines & Blueprint for Secure Cloud
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the capacity to engage both technical and executive stakeholders.
Desirable Experience
Prior experience operating within Federal Government, Defence portfolio agencies, or classified operational environments.
Industry certifications relevant to your stream (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCNA/CCNP, AZ-104/305, AWS Solutions Architect, RHCE, ITIL).
Familiarity with the Digital Service Standard (DSS) for digital service delivery and design roles.
