Security Coordinator– All levels
SECURITY COORDINATOR - ASSOCIATE:
Assists in the support of the STP Security Program and Security System maintenance and tracking to ensure security systems are up to date and that procedural
and regulatory requirements are met.
Conducts field walkdowns and records appropriate information identified during these walkdowns. Prepares Condition Reports, Management
Observation Forms and other written reports as directed.
Assists (This is the drill coordinator) Security Drill Coordinator with implementation of the Security Drills and Exercises Program.-
Assists with resolving and implementing corrective actions identified in the Station Corrective Action Program.
Assists with Security System maintenance and tracking. Takes direction in order to maintain the Security Program.
Interfaces with NRC, Local Law Enforcement Agencies as required. Attends Station Team communication meetings as assigned and acts as Security
Representative at assigned meetings.
EXPERIENCE
0 - 2 Years’ experience preferably in Nuclear Security field but Military or law enforcement experience is also acceptable. (Required)
SECURITY COORDINATOR:
Works independently to support and implement the STP Security Programs and Security System maintenance and tracking and training to ensure security systems are up to date and that procedural and regulatory requirements are met.
Conducts field walkdowns and records appropriate information to prepare Condition Reports and Management Observation Forms. Completes the NRC Performance Indicator reports and other written reports as directed.
Assists Security Drill Coordinator with implementation of the Security Drills and Exercises Program.
Assists with resolving and implementing corrective actions identified in the Station Corrective Action Program. Provides periodic status updates to various support personnel and management on assigned tasks.
Completes Security System maintenance and tracking. Works with minimal direction to maintain the Security Program.
Interfaces with NRC, Local Law Enforcement Agencies as required. Attends Station Team communication meetings as assigned and acts as Security representative at assigned meetings.
Researches and prepares Security Instructions and Procedures as assigned.
Supports the implementation of the Security Training and Qualification Program.
EXPERIENCE
2 Years + experience in security industry with at least 1 year nuclear security industry experience. 1 year military or law enforcement experience is acceptable toward the second year. (Required)

Coordinates the implementation of the STP Security Programs and the development of the Security Plan, reporting and training to ensure security systems are
up to date and that procedural and regulatory requirements are met.
Conducts field walkdowns and records appropriate information identified during these walkdowns. Prepares Condition Reports, Management
Observation Forms. Completes the NRC Performance Indicator reports and other written reports as directed.
Acts as Drill Coordinator for implementation of the Security Drills and Exercises Program. Acts as Security Manager or Manger Plant Protection Support as needed.
Coordinates the Corrective Action Program and supports implementing corrective actions identified. Provides periodic status updates to appropriate
Management. Conducts apparent cause evaluations and preforms self-assessments.
With minimal direction, coordinates the development and revisions of Security Plan, Instructions and Procedures. Ensures regulatory compliance is being maintained. Completes Security System maintenance and tracking and classifies Safeguards documents.
Interfaces with NRC, Local Law Enforcement Agencies as required. Attends Station Team communication meetings as assigned and acts as Security
Representative at assigned meetings.

Observation Forms. Ensures all compliance reporting is completed
Acts as Drill Coordinator for implementation of the Security Drills and Exercises Program. Acts as Security Manager or Manger Plant Protection Support as needed

8 Years + experience in the nuclear security industry (a combination of 5 years nuclear security industry experience and other experience including
Military or law enforcement experience is acceptable). (Required)
LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS
There is no Certification or Licensure Listed
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in preferably Security field. Without a degree 5 years of security experience or an Associate's degree in Security field plus three years
of security experience. (Required)
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Accept ERO position as needed.
Accept outage position as needed.
Responsible for the Drill and Exercise Program
Will assist the rest of Security Training as needed
SPECIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access.
Strong communication (verbal and written) skills with the ability to utilize knowledge of Federal Codes and computer software to write clear and concise reports.
Ability to comprehend Company goals and objectives, policies, procedures and have sensitivity to emerging issues, which may impact the Company.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Ability to maintain professional demeanor, demonstrate leadership skills under pressure or during plant emergencies. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities while being adaptable to change. Represents STP in a professional manner.
