Security Dispatcher

The Security Dispatcher is responsible for providing the most responsive and knowledgeable command & control, and dispatch services in a professional, prompt, and courteous manner.

• Responds in a calm demeanor to any/all emergency situations that may arise, (e.g., bomb threats, medical incidents, deaths, domestic disturbances, etc.)
• Proactively monitors non-gaming surveillance cameras and life safety systems on a continual basis, assists guests/employees whenever needed and secures the casino property against loss and/or damage.
• Collect and save video evidence using non-gaming video surveillance cameras.
• Prioritizes calls regarding life safety and protection of property.
• Dispatches officers to calls as necessary.
• Coordinates officers’ breaks and assignment rotations.
• Answers guest and Team Member inquiries related to lost-and- found (L&F) issues.
• Answers phone calls and radio traffic in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintains accurate records in the L&F management system.
• Creates daily logs and entries in the iTrak system of all security incidents, visitors/vendors badging, and dispatching functions.
• Writes security incident reports as necessary.
• Calls and communicates with outside agencies, such as police and fire departments, as needed.
• Monitors and addresses property door access issues and concerns.
• Handles themselves in a calm, professional and courteous manner to guests and team members at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
