How you will make our systems secure

At AFAS ICT, we ensure that everything related to IT works. We arrange the right software and hardware so that colleagues and customers can do their jobs well. As a security engineer, you will work on the security of our infrastructure, systems, and software. You will identify risks and translate them into concrete actions. You will do this together with colleagues, security partners, and product development.

In addition, you will take a critical look at how things are set up. Is this still correct? Can this be improved? Sometimes you will be deep in the technology. Sometimes you will make others aware of risks or answer a difficult question. You will be involved in, among other things:

• Improving and implementing security measures
• Analyzing and following up on incidents
• Detecting and resolving vulnerabilities
• Translating threats into concrete actions
• Testing systems with a hacker mindset

You think not only in terms of solutions but also in terms of risks. You are also willing to discuss these. And if necessary? Then you are there. Even outside of working hours. Not because you have to, but because you understand what is at stake.
