- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security practices into the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Automate security workflows, vulnerability management, and incident response processes.
- Lead security initiatives to address evolving threats and strengthen infrastructure resilience.
- Design, implement, and manage secure cloud architectures across platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Leverage AI/ML-driven security tools to improve cloud monitoring, threat detection, and incident response.
- Automate cloud security configurations and implement proactive vulnerability assessment mechanisms.
- Partner with DevOps and infrastructure teams to integrate security controls into cloud environments and deployment pipelines.
- Design and manage data protection mechanisms, including encryption, tokenization, and masking, to secure sensitive information at rest and in transit.
- Implement data classification, access control, and retention policies to minimize security risks.
- Monitor and enforce security controls across data storage, processing, and transmission.
- Apply AI/ML techniques, including anomaly detection, supervised and unsupervised learning, and threat classification, to strengthen security operations.
- Build and deploy automated, scalable security models for identifying suspicious activities and emerging threats.
- Integrate cloud-native security tools such as AWS GuardDuty and Microsoft Sentinel into security monitoring and response workflows.
- Evaluate emerging AI/ML technologies to improve security automation and proactive threat prevention.
- Work closely with development, DevOps, infrastructure, and security teams to embed security best practices across applications and cloud environments.
- Prepare reports on security risks, threat trends, vulnerabilities, and recommended mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with evolving cybersecurity practices.
- Support knowledge sharing and training initiatives on modern security engineering and AI/ML-driven security operations.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of overall experience in cybersecurity and engineering, including at least 3 years of hands-on cybersecurity/cloud security experience.
- Strong expertise in cloud security, perimeter security, and security engineering.
- Practical experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and associated security services, including IAM, encryption, security groups, and cloud security monitoring.
- Strong understanding of network security technologies and protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and perimeter defense mechanisms.
