Security Engineer Data and Endpoint Security
Summary
Build and refine data-loss-prevention and host-based detection systems, trace sensitive data flows, and investigate security incidents across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
You will develop data and endpoint security detection capabilities, optimize security rules and models, investigate incidents, trace sensitive data flows, analyze threats, respond to host alerts, and detect attacks across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop data security detection capabilities
- Validate and optimize security rules, models and detection strategies
- Investigate data security incidents
- Build data asset maps
- Trace data flows and sensitive data exfiltration risks
- Perform risk analytics and anomaly detection
- Build host-based detection capabilities
- Refine host security policies and detection models
- Handle host security alerts and incident response
- Improve endpoint data collection pipelines
- Detect and analyze APT attacks and intrusions
- Support endpoint security architecture improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Information Security, Network Security, Computer Science or a related field
- 3–5+ years of data security or host security experience
- Understanding of security attack and defense techniques
- Understanding of enterprise security system design
- Experience with DLP, EDR, UEBA or sensitive data identification products
- Proficiency in macOS and Linux
- Familiarity with Flink, Spark, Hive, Elasticsearch and graph analysis technologies
- Analytical thinking
- Communication skills
- Understanding of compliance and legal obligations
