Security Engineer - DevSecOps & Cloud

This is a hands on Security Engineer role, focused on building and integrating security controls across AWS, applications and delivery pipelines. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure systems are secure by design, with a strong emphasis on automation, practical implementation, and continuous improvement. Description * Implement security controls across cloud infrastructure, including identity, network security, encryption, and logging * Embed security into CI/CD pipelines using DevSecOps tooling (SAST, SCA, secrets scanning, IaC scanning) * Build and manage secure infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles * Secure containerised environments and Kubernetes workloads, including runtime and image controls * Support vulnerability management across the SDLC, identifying and driving remediation * Contribute to incident response, root cause analysis, and implementation of preventative measures * Develop and improve monitoring and alerting across systems (SIEM, logging, detection pipelines) * Work with engineering teams to improve secure coding practices and reduce risk in production Job Offer * A hands on engineering role working on modern cloud and DevSecOps environments * Opportunity to build security controls directly into platforms and pipelines

* 3-6 years of experience in security engineering, DevSecOps, or application security * Hands on experience with CI/CD pipelines and embedding security into software delivery * Experience using Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools * Good understanding of cloud and network security (AWS preferred) * Exposure to container and Kubernetes security * Practical knowledge of OWASP and application security fundamentals * Experience with vulnerability management and security tooling * Comfortable scripting or automating tasks * A practical, engineering led mindset - focused on building and implementing
