Security Engineer
Summary
Security Engineer manages vulnerabilities and secures cloud-based software systems using tools like Qualys, Wireshark, Docker, and Kubernetes across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
We are looking for a Security Engineer to manage vulnerabilities and ensure the security of software systems across cloud environments. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise with security tools and cloud platforms, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify risks and implement effective remediation strategies.
Responsibilities
- Manage and remediate vulnerabilities in software systems in real time
- Utilize tools such as Qualys, Wireshark, Docker, and Kubernetes to identify and address security vulnerabilities
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP to ensure the security of software systems
- Collaborate with IT Security, IT, and asset owners to provide real-time alerts and recommended remediation solutions
- Stay updated on the latest security practices and vulnerabilities to proactively protect software systems
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in security engineering
- Knowledge of vulnerability management tools such as Qualys
- Familiarity with network security concepts and technologies
- Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Capability to work remotely and independently, with no work from the office required
- Proficiency in English at a B2 level
Nice to have
- Background in DevOps and security monitoring
- Familiarity with security technologies like Wireshark, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure
