Security Engineer

Hitachi Rail is seeking a Security Engineer based in Naples, Italy to design and implement Cybersecurity Systems for contracts and projects. The role requires coordinating with customers and internal teams, leading commissioning and testing, and ensuring compliance with standards such as NIST/IEC.

Design and implement Cybersecurity System per contract requirements. Develop risk assessments and security plans (NIST/IEC standards). Lead onsite commissioning and testing of security controls. Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams for secure integration. Prepare security documentation and reports for stakeholders. Bachelor’s level degree in a relevant engineering or IT field. 3–5 years of cybersecurity system engineering experience preferred. Fluent in English.
