Security Engineering Manager
You will lead and develop security engineers while owning and executing the security engineering strategy and roadmap. You will contribute to technical decisions, translate secure-by-default principles into practical controls, automate workflows, manage partnerships, and drive operational excellence and incident response.
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and grow a team of security engineers
- Own the security engineering strategy and roadmap and drive execution
- Serve as a hands-on technical leader and security subject matter expert
- Scale impact through automation, AI-motivated workflows, and partnerships
- Translate secure-by-default principles into practical controls that reduce risk
- Drive operational excellence, including incident response, toil elimination, and execution standards
Requirements
- Experience leading and growing a security engineering team
- Experience leading or managing engineers as a people manager or technical leader with people responsibility
- Technical credibility across Zero Trust, Conditional Access, endpoint security, data protection, mobile device management, and SaaS security
- Ability to engage in technical design and architecture decisions
- Familiarity with development and automation approaches in a security context
- Hands-on experience building with AI tools and securing AI technologies
- Strategic and roadmap planning skills
- Communication and stakeholder management skills
