The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:

  • Report for duty as scheduled and attend pre- and post-shift briefings.

  • Oversee daily operations of the Hotel Security Control Room.

  • Monitor CCTV and security systems; promptly report irregularities.

  • Manage access points and ensure only authorized entries.

  • Conduct regular patrols of guest floors, public areas, and back-of-house.

  • Respond promptly to all security, safety, and medical emergencies.

  • Handle incident reporting, preliminary investigations, and documentation in line with SOPs.

  • Manage lost & found items, key control, and visitor/contractor passes.

  • Provide crowd control, lift management, and VIP escort duties as required.

  • Assist in training and guiding security officers on SOPs and hotel policies.

  • Ensure all security systems and equipment are operational; report faults promptly.

  • Liaise with management, vendors, and local authorities on security issues.

  • Perform other duties assigned by the Security Manager

  • At least 2–3 years' security experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel

  • Proven experience in administering persons in lifesaving or property protection situations

  • Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, firefighting, and crowd control

  • Minimum Chief Security Officer Certification as required by local authorities

  • Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) Certificate

  • Proficiency with hotel security systems and strong computer, report writing, communication, investigation, and questioning skills
