Security Guard
Position Summary:
The Security Guard is responsible for protecting our facility and its occupants by tracking & controlling access, responding to alarms/ emergencies, and monitoring surveillance systems.
- Required to work rotating 12 hour shifts (days and nights) – over 7 day work weeks (including holidays)

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Screen, monitor, and direct all people and vehicles entering the facility.
- Detain unidentified personnel & vehicles until verified.
- Notify the appropriate personnel of appointments & visitors.
- Keep truck logs in the security office for viewing if required.
- Check and direct all incoming and outgoing commercial vehicles.
- Attend to the phone system and forward calls to the appropriate people.
- Respond to alarms by contacting the appropriate personnel.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid security guard license
- Minimum 1 year security experience
- Knowledgeable and capable of handling plant security incidents: fire, injury, trespassing.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- High level of professionalism
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
