Security Guard

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) Facilities and the Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Perform installation access control for pedestrians and vehicles utilizing standard operating procedures, written orders and regulatory requirements.

Resolve standard procedural and non-recurring visitor access assignments in support of the Visitor Control Center.

Serve as a member of the installation’s overall security response capability during actual or simulated incidents.

Regulate pedestrian and vehicular traffic to prevent accidents and to ease congestion and parking problems.
