Security Management Personnel

Security Managers are primarily responsible for protecting an organization’s assets, employees, and guests by maintaining a safe and secure environment. They oversee security measures, enforce policies and procedures, and ensure emergency response readiness. Their duties and responsibilities include: • Overseeing and coordinating security efforts across the company, including information technology, human resources, communications, legal, and other groups • Identifying, implementing and maintaining security processes, equipment and services • Conducting regular security audits and risk assessments to identify areas of improvement • Developing and implementing security policies, protocols and procedures • Recruiting, training and supervising security officers and guards • Attending meetings with other company managers to determine operational needs • Planning, directing and coordinating security budgets and purchases • Responding to emergency situations and providing crisis management assistance • Maintaining relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services • Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and standards related to security
