Security Manager
Description
You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt Hotels Corporation's Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.
The Security Manager is responsible to manage the department, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction, through planning, organizing, directing and controlling the housekeeping operation and administration.
About the Role
To effectively and efficiently manage the security function of the hotel so that its guests, associates, operations, and assets are protected and secure. The Security Manager position serves as the Functional Head of the Hotel Security Department and is responsible for all safety and security matters at the property. This position will serve as the Security and Safety Advisor to the General Manager and the hotel Leadership Committee for all security and safety related matters of the hotel.
Some responsibilities of this role include\:

Security support to all departments across the Hotel
- Fire Safety – including patrols and hazard identification
- Employee and Asset Protection
- Maintenance of the Hotel’s Emergency Management Plan
- Development and implementation of various Hotel Safety & Security procedures
- Ensuring compliance with company policy and procedure
- Incident response, investigation and report writing
- Monitoring CCTV and internal alarms
- Providing proactive public security presence
We are seeking a disciplined and passionate individual with a minimum of 3 years experience in a Security Management role within a corporate environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to customer care, safety and security, be computer literate and possess strong administration skills.
