Security Monitoring Team Lead
Summary
Lead a 24/7 security operations center, configure SIEM/IDS/IPS/WAF policies, and respond to real-time threats while analyzing crypto-targeted attacks.
You will oversee 24/365 security monitoring operations and staffing, lead monitoring of internal and external intrusion attempts, analyze events, and respond to real-time security issues. You will configure SIEM, IDS/IPS, and WAF policies, improve detection rules, analyze hacking trends, and implement proactive defenses.
Responsibilities
- Oversee 24/365 security monitoring operations and staffing
- Monitor internal and external intrusion attempts
- Analyze security events
- Lead responses to real-time security issues
- Configure SIEM, IDS/IPS, and WAF policies
- Improve security detection rules
- Analyze current hacking trends including cryptocurrency-targeted APT attacks
- Implement proactive defense systems
Requirements
- At least 10 years of security monitoring experience
- At least 5 years of experience leading a security monitoring organization
- Experience with cloud security monitoring and security system implementation
- Experience responding to large-scale security incidents
- Experience automating and improving security monitoring efficiency
