Security Officer 1

Responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of patrons, employees and casino property.

***This is a safety-sensitive position that requires a drug test, including marijuana use***

A valid driver's license is required for this driving position.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide security and protection for patrons and property
• Respond to all security calls as required
• Maintain surveillance of casino floor and surrounding areas
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents that occur
• Assist in employee injuries and/or guest injuries or illness
• React promptly to disturbances at any location as required
• Observe and react to individuals suspected of illegal activities
• Assist with drop team members when needed
• Other job related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior Security/Military/Law Enforcement experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written
• At least 21 years of age
• Have reliable transportation
• Valid Nevada driver's license is required
• Proof of insurance

• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to be flexible with hours
