Summary
Security officer for a hospital network, monitoring facilities and ensuring safety for patients, visitors, and staff during overnight weekend shifts.
Under the general direction of the Director of Security, the security officer is responsible for monitoring all areas of EMC hospital, Clinics and Nursing Home in order to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees. Monitors parking facilities and pedestrian and vehicle traffic in accordance with department and EMC policy. The security officer is an employee of Emanuel Medical Center and is expected to follow the policies and procedures of the facility. The Security Office answers to the Director of Security.
