Security Officer

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, team members, and the facility during assigned shifts. Reporting to the Security Supervisor, Field Training Officer, Security Shift Manager, and Security Director, this role performs routine patrols, monitors security systems, responds to incidents, and provides excellent guest service while enforcing all security policies and procedures.

The Security Officer supports daily security operations through alert observation, accurate reporting, and effective communication. This position follows established post orders, assists with incident response as directed, and works collaboratively with supervisors and fellow officers to uphold security standards, internal controls, and departmental expectations.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.

• Ability to follow instructions, policies, and procedures while working independently or as part of a team.

• Strong observational and situational awareness skills in a guest service–oriented environment.

• Ability to maintain a professional business appearance in accordance with departmental standards.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or a guest service environment preferred.

• Experience in gaming security or law enforcement is a plus but not required.
