Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Nights – 19:00-7:00)
- Week
2: Tuesday & Wednesday (Nights – 19:00-7:00) and Saturday & Sunday (Days – 7:00-19:00)
Pay: £12.71
per hour

Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services,
for an experienced Security Officer to join our established security team based
at Tobacco Warehouse in Liverpool City Centre.
This role is ideal for a motivated individual who takes pride in delivering outstanding security services while maintaining a safe, secure, clean, and welcoming environment for all visitors, contractors, tenants, and staff.
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for protecting the client's people, property, and assets through a combination of regular patrols, vigilant monitoring, incident response, and exceptional customer service. You will act as a key point of contact on site, dealing confidently and professionally with a range of situations while ensuring compliance with site procedures. In addition to core security responsibilities, you will also be required to carry out basic cleaning duties as needed to help maintain high presentation standards and ensure the site remains safe, tidy, and operational at all times.
The successful candidate must have a valid SIA Licence as a
minimum. You will be required to provide a high level of customer service to
visitors to the site, complete patrols and remain vigilant at all times.
Duties include:
- Protecting
the client’s property, people and/or assets by providing security services
in direct accordance with the sites published Assignment Instructions
(AI’s) and site-specific procedures
- Preventing
losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing offenders of
policy and procedures
- Preventing
and escalating incidents in a timely, accurate and appropriate manner to
the Control Room/ Shift Manager/Operations Manager/Emergency Services as
appropriate for serious incidents
- Completing
reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and
surveillance activities
- Maintaining
organisation's stability and reputation by complying with legal
requirements
- Contributing
to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Acting
as a first line support to customers and visitors to site, providing a
professional and friendly service
- Understanding
the needs of our customer, respond accordingly to customer queries and
requests and take appropriate action
- Carrying
out basic cleaning duties as required to maintain a safe, clean, and
presentable environment within designated areas
- Maintaining
professional conduct at all times
- Carry out basic cleaning duties as required, including maintaining corridors, entrances, and other designated areas to ensure a safe, clean, and presentable environment.
Requirements
- Full
5-year employment checkable history
- Valid
frontline SIA licence DS or SG
- Customer
Service experience and confidence to handle conflict in a correct
manner
- Flexible
to meet the job requirements
- Excellent
communication skills both written and verbal
- Smart
appearance and be well-groomed
- Reliable
and punctual
- High
level of enthusiasm and passion
- Ability
to work in a fast-moving environment
