Location: Chicago, IL – Gold Coast Area

Schedule: Fri - Sat, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Sunday, 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: Starting at $23.00 per hour

Blue Line Security Solutions is seeking professional, highly dependable Unarmed Security Officers to provide security at AMIRI, a high-end luxury retail location in Chicago's Gold Coast area.

This is a standing security post located at a high-end retail establishment. Officers will be responsible for maintaining a professional security presence, monitoring the premises, protecting the client's property, and helping ensure a safe and secure environment for employees and authorized visitors.

This position is well suited for security professionals who are dependable, observant, and comfortable interacting with members of the public while maintaining a strong security presence in a premium retail environment.

The ideal candidate is professional, well-groomed, approachable, and comfortable wearing a suit while on duty. Officers must maintain a polished appearance and demonstrate the level of discretion and customer service expected at a luxury retail establishment.

Job Description

• Maintain a professional and visible unarmed security presence at the retail location
• Monitor the premises, entrances, and surrounding areas for potential security concerns
• Monitor and manage access to the establishment in accordance with the client's security procedures and access-control policies
• Observe customers, employees, and activity in and around the property for suspicious behavior or potential security risks
• Help protect the client's property, merchandise, employees, and facilities from theft, vandalism, unauthorized access, and other security-related concerns
• Identify and appropriately respond to suspicious activity, disturbances, or other security-related concerns
• Maintain a high level of situational awareness throughout the shift
• Respond to emergencies, medical incidents, disturbances, or other incidents in accordance with post orders and company policy
• Communicate with store management and Blue Line Security Solutions supervisors regarding security concerns or incidents
• Coordinate with the Chicago Police Department and emergency responders when necessary
• Prepare accurate and professional incident reports and daily activity reports when required
• Maintain confidentiality regarding the client, employees, customers, operations, merchandise, and security procedures
• Follow all client-specific post orders, company policies, and applicable Illinois laws and regulations
• Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and customer-service standards at all times
• Wear a suit while on duty and maintain a clean, polished, and business-professional appearance throughout the shift
• Remain attentive and professional while standing or walking for extended periods
• Complete required company and site-specific training
• Perform additional security-related duties as assigned by management

Because this assignment is located within a high-end luxury retail environment, officers are expected to maintain a professional, polished, and customer-service-oriented presence at all times.

The officer's role is not limited to security enforcement. Officers will regularly interact with customers and retail personnel and must be able to address security concerns while remaining courteous, respectful, and professional.

Officers must be able to balance a strong security presence with the level of discretion, presentation, and customer service expected at a premium retail establishment.
