Security Officer – Cannabis Dispensary

Starting Pay: $21.00 per Hour

We are seeking professional, reliable, and customer-focused Security Officers to join our team at a high-volume retail cannabis dispensary in Central Phoenix. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for customers, employees, vendors, and visitors while ensuring compliance with company policies and Arizona cannabis regulations.

The ideal candidate is observant, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail setting. Security Officers serve as the first point of contact for many customers and play a vital role in creating a positive experience while protecting the facility and its assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify customer identification and control access to the facility
• Maintain a visible security presence inside and outside the dispensary
• Monitor property, customers, employees, and vendors to ensure a safe environment
• Observe and report suspicious activity or security concerns
• Complete accurate incident and daily activity reports as needed
• Assist in professionally and calmly de-escalating conflicts or disruptive situations
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and state regulations
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor

Qualifications

• Previous security, loss prevention, or related experience preferred
• Strong communication, customer service, and conflict-resolution skills
• Excellent situational awareness and attention to detail
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Facility Agent Certification required (assistance with the application process is available)
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Complete accurate incident and daily activity reports as needed using mobile device with NFC capabilities
• Professional appearance and conduct at all times

Schedule

The dispensary operates 7 days per week from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

Available shift is approximately 7 hours and primarily supports morning and evening operations. Scheduling may vary based on business needs and employee availability.

Current Opening:

• Part-Time: Thursday through Sunday, 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM
