About the role

MSS Security is seeking casual Security Officers to join our team at a refinery in the Geelong area. This role is ideal for those who are committed to safety, security and providing exceptional service.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Remain alert and observe surroundings to identify and report potential risks or suspicious behaviours.

  • Monitor CCTV footage, access control and radio communication systems.

  • Write incident reports and record occurrences where required.

  • Conduct foot and vehicle patrols.

  • Provide exceptional customer service.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Previous experience working in security, particularly in high-surveillance or industrial environments.

  • Excellent communications skills - written and verbal.

  • Competent computer skills required.

  • Willing to participate in an on-site shadow shift and complete a medical clearance.

Requirements:

  • Full Australian Working Rights.

  • Victorian Security Licence (control room activity advantageous).

  • Certificate II in Security Operations (or higher).

  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates.

  • Valid Victorian Drivers Licence.

  • Current MSIC or willing to obtain.

  • Availability to work a rotating 24/7 roster.
