About the role
MSS Security is seeking a Security Officer to join our team in Hobart for a Monday to Friday role working onsite a prestigious government client. This role will see you working a steady roster of 8am to 5pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a professional, courteous and helpful point of contact for staff and visitors, assisting with general inquiries and directions.
Respond appropriately and promptly to incidents, emergencies or security breaches, ensuring the safety of all personnel and visitors.
Monitor and control access points to the building, ensuring only authorised personnel are granted entry.
Work collaboratively as part of a team to maintain high security standards and resolve any issues that arise.
Requirements:
Full Australian working rights.
Valid Tasmanian Security licence.
Valid First Aid and CPR certificates (or willing to obtain).
Working With Vulnerable People check (or willing to obtain).
Willing to undergo and pass a National Police Check.
Master Licence Number: 5784
