Security Officer

This part-time position is at our 24 hour Drop-In Center which caters to homeless adults. The available shifts are either:

6am-2pm Saturday and Sunday

OR

10pm-6am Saturday and Sunday

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for both Clients and staff
• Patrolling and monitoring premises
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property
• Inspecting both the interior and exterior of the building at regular intervals through shift
• Monitoring surveillance, permitting entry of all who wish to enter the facility
• Security checks of all clients entering the facility which includes monitoring the metal detector and using a handheld metal detector (wand)
