Security Officer

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Welcoming and assisting staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Conducting regular security patrols and site inspections.
• Monitoring and protecting people, property, and assets.
• Controlling access, responding to alarms, and operating CCTV systems.
• Supporting emergency procedures, including evacuations and searches.
• Investigating incidents and reporting security or safety concerns promptly.
• Completing security checks, incident reports, and site records accurately.
• Carrying out locking/unlocking duties and supporting health and safety procedures.
• Delivering excellent customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Ensuring compliance with site procedures, regulations, and security standards.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

• A valid SIA Licence (or willingness to obtain one).
• The right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable employment history.
• No unspent criminal convictions.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Excellent customer service skills and a professional approach.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Committed to the values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.

• Desirable:

• Previous experience as a Security Officer.
• A full UK driving licence and access to own transport.
• A valid First Aid qualification.
