Job Description
Job Summary
Ensure the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff at Shriners Hospitals for Children by providing a welcoming and secure environment, while also offering concierge-level assistance.
Key Responsibilities
Patrols buildings and grounds; and inspects doors, windows and locks to determine level of security according to schedule.
Secures all doors at specified hours and unlocks doors at prescribed hours.
Responds quickly and effectively to emergent and non-emergent situations.
Ensures that all visitors register properly and are issued visitor passes in accordance with regulation
Displays courtesy and a pleasant demeanor towards all visitors and directs them to their destination.
Assists in lost and found, key control and other department services.
Directs traffic and patrols parking areas and accurately issues warnings.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
State Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
Three years security or law enforcement experience
