As our Security Operations Analyst, you'll be part of the team keeping our cloud and on-premise environments secure as we grow to millions of investors.

If this is the kind of problem you want to solve, let's talk.

What you'll do

As Security Operations Analyst, you will support day-to-day security operations across our cloud and on-premise environments, from monitoring and threat detection through to incident response. You will help operate and improve the tools that protect our systems, conduct security tests and write up vulnerability findings, and help embed a strong security culture through awareness activities and clear documentation. You will also participate in information security audits and support ICT risk management. Working closely with engineering and senior security colleagues, you will help identify risks, research potential improvements, and build your skills in a security function that's still taking shape.

You will:

  • Support day-to-day security operations, including monitoring, threat detection, and incident response.

  • Help operate and improve security tooling, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection, and antivirus solutions.

  • Conduct security and vulnerability tests across cloud and on-premise environments, analyse results, and write up findings in vulnerability reports.

  • Participate in information system security audits, and support internal and external audit and compliance activities, including DORA (EU 2022/2554) readiness.

  • Follow up on vulnerability scans, risk assessments, and audits by tracking remediation timelines, updating Jira, and collaborating with stakeholders on their progress.

  • Research security enhancements and emerging threats, and make recommendations to senior team members.

  • Participate in the security review of new systems or infrastructure changes.

  • Contribute to security culture through awareness activities, training support, and clear, consistent documentation of processes and controls.

  • Comfortable working across both technical tasks (tooling, monitoring, testing) and documentation tasks - this role genuinely blends both.

  • Strong written and spoken communication in English and Latvian.

  • Ability to follow established processes and guidance while flagging issues or gaps proactively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a regulated company within the financial services industry.

  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as DORA (EU 2022/2554), PCI DSS or similar.
