Security Operations Analyst

We are looking to hire 2 Security Operations Analysts!

The Security Operations Analyst is responsible for monitoring and managing security systems installed

and supported by our company—primarily, but not limited to, Verkada’s

integrated security platform. This role plays a critical part in supporting and upholding the integrity of each client’s security protocols through real-time alert review, threat assessment, de-escalation efforts, and accurate documentation.

The Analyst responds to automated alerts generated through Verkada’s security platform, reviewing associated video clips, event data, and live feeds (as needed) to identify potential security breaches, protocol violations, or suspicious activity. Using TMA-AVS-01 Alarm Validation Standards, the Analyst evaluates alert severity, determines the appropriate

response level, and issues verbal “talk-down” commands through enabled speaker systems to deter and deescalate unauthorized activity. When verbal engagement is unsuccessful or the situation escalates, the Analyst follows established protocols, which may include contacting clients, dispatching patrol units when applicable, or notifying law

enforcement.

The Analysts manage and respond to hundreds of alerts per shift and document all relevant findings. They prepare detailed Daily Activity Reports (DARs), Incident Reports (IRs), and follow-up documentation as required. Analysts also utilize TrackTik strictly for reporting and recordkeeping, ensuring all submissions are accurate, complete, and aligned with the company's standards.
