Security Operations Center Operator

You will monitor security systems and maintain awareness of incidents that may affect protected personnel, assets, facilities, and information. You will coordinate emergency responses, dispatch security staff, document incidents, support secure client movements, assist with personnel deployments and asset accountability, and serve as a central communication hub. You will also conduct patrols, assist with operational tasks, and participate in ongoing security training and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor global security and political incidents that may affect operations or protected personnel.
• Operate and monitor CCTV, access control, alarm, intrusion detection, and fire alarm systems.
• Answer phone calls and monitor critical systems.
• Initiate and coordinate fire, medical, and security emergency-response protocols.
• Escalate incidents to supervisors and relevant stakeholders.
• Dispatch security staff as appropriate.
• Maintain incident reports, daily logs, and shift summaries.
• Document and investigate security events and incidents.
• Coordinate secure client movements through itinerary tracking, geo-fence monitoring, threat analysis, and communication with executive protection personnel and drivers.
• Assist with deployment of security personnel and manage personnel activities across protected locations.
• Issue equipment and maintain asset accountability.
• Maintain communications with staff, guests, vendors, emergency services, and employees through radio, telephone, email, and in person.
• Assist with driving, advances, vehicle fleet operations, vendors, contractors, and client-directed personal tasks.
• Conduct static and roving patrols.
• Participate in training and evaluation in combatives, deescalation, weapons proficiency, emergency medicine, driving, and surveillance detection.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of experience in a high-security environment.
• Familiarity with security operating procedures and incident command structures.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with CCTV, intrusion detection systems, access control systems, communications platforms, and Google Workspace.
• Valid state driver's license or ability to obtain one.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.
• Colorado residency and a valid concealed carry permit.
• Residence within a 30-minute drive of the Colorado headquarters in Longmont, Colorado.
• Proficiency with a Glock 19, M4 rifle, M500 shotgun, or equivalent.
• Ability to sit for extended periods, run short distances, drag an unconscious adult, perform CPR, and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and shift backfill as required.
