As a Security Operations Engineer you are part of a team that is keep up with the latest security technologies, responsible for ensuring the security of Workspan cloud application and the overall security posture of Workspan engineering projects on multiple public cloud resources on multiple cloud platforms including but not limited to GCP, AWS and Azure.

Responsibilities will include recommending security technologies and methods to help maintain a secure environment, rolling out security best practices, ensuring that we comply with the guidelines set for SOC2 and other compliance requirements, building automation for policy implementation and enforcement, and providing escalated troubleshooting and guidance to operations staff.

Solid operational knowledge of common security technologies (e.g. ACLs, Firewall, IDS/IDP, VPN, certificates, SIEM, load filtering, etc.); and advanced support and complex change configuration ability in at least one securitytechnologies; competent at intermediate change configurations in more than one security technologies.

Basic understanding of containers and container orchestration.

Exposure to vulnerabilities related to API security, Container, Micro Services.

Exposure to the Application Security Vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10), security

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
