As a Security Sales Specialist, you will work with many of Finland’s largest enterprises and public sector organizations to shape their cybersecurity strategies and enable secure digital transformation. As cyber threats grow more sophisticated and AI adoption accelerates, you will engage executive decision-makers, understand complex security, risk, compliance, and resilience challenges, and help customers build modern, end-to-end security capabilities that reduce risk and enable secure innovation.

Responsibilities

Lead Strategic Security Engagements

  • Develop trusted relationships with senior business and technology leaders.

  • Help customers address cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, and resilience challenges.

  • Lead strategic security conversations and position Microsoft as a trusted advisor.

  • Create and execute strategies that drive security transformation and business value.

Grow and Win Business

  • Develop, manage, and close a healthy pipeline of security opportunities.

  • Identify new growth opportunities within existing accounts and new customer relationships.

  • Build compelling business cases that demonstrate the value of modern security investments.

  • Own complex sales cycles from opportunity creation through successful closure.

Collaboration & Orchestration

  • Work as an integral part of a broad account team, helping customers achieve their goals across the full Microsoft technology platform.

  • Lead virtual teams of solution engineers, partners, and other specialists to deliver integrated customer outcomes.

  • Coordinate expertise and resources across Microsoft’s ecosystem to accelerate customer success and business impact.

  • Ensure a seamless customer experience across the sales journey by connecting the right people, partners, expertise, and resources at the right time.

Industry Leadership

  • Stay ahead of cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, regulatory developments, and market dynamics.

  • Share insights that help customers make informed security decisions.

  • Act as a thought leader both internally and externally.

  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and innovation.



Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in technology sales, solution sales, consulting, pre-sales, business development, or account management.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, business risk management, and the priorities that shape executive security decisions.
  • Strong relationship-building, executive communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
    • Demonstrated success in driving customer engagements and developing business opportunities.
  • Professional fluency in Finnish and English languages, with the ability to communicate credibly with executive, business, and technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cybersecurity, cloud, data protection, compliance, identity, or risk management solutions.
  • Familiarity with the cybersecurity vendor landscape and current market trends.
  • Understanding of how AI is transforming both cyber threats and cyber defense.
  • Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise opportunities.


Solution Area Specialists IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Finland is € 96,300.00 - € 156,100.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
