Marksman Titan Security is currently hiring a Security Shift Supervisor to work at a location in Roseville, Michigan.
Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:
- Provide excellent customer service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
- Must be able to walk 5-10 miles per shift doing rounds
- Must have good working knowledge of computers, sending emails, logging information
- Ability to stand/sit/walk for extended periods of time.
- Control access for patrons, visitors or vendors as required.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Monitor the assigned lots and conduct mobile patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.
- Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property including packages.
- Effectively utilize access control systems and CCTV systems as needed.
- Ensure guests and vendors are properly greeted when entering the building.
- Observe departing personnel to guard against theft.
- Monitor security cameras that are within the facility.
- Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications of Security Supervisor:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have previous security supervisor experience.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather.
Preferred Qualifications of Security Supervisor:
- Bi-lingual considered a plus.
- Previous experience as a Security Supervisor.
