Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Schedule
- Friday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
- Saturday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM & 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- Sunday: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Security Shift Lead to oversee overnight security operations in Desoto, TX. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while providing leadership, direction, and support to on-duty security personnel. The ideal candidate is experienced, decisive under pressure, and capable of managing incidents professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support security officers during assigned shifts
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incidents and escalations
- Monitor premises through patrols and surveillance systems
- Respond to emergencies, incidents, and alarms in a timely manner
- Prepare detailed incident and daily activity reports
- Ensure all security protocols and post orders are followed
- Communicate effectively with management, clients, and team members
- Assist with training and mentoring of security staff
Requirements
- 1–3 years of security experience (supervisory experience preferred)
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to assess situations and make sound decisions under pressure
- Basic computer proficiency (report writing, email, incident systems)
- Flexible availability, including nights and weekends as needed
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license required
