Security Supervisor – Orangeburg, NY

Pay Rate: $29.00/hr.

We are currently seeking an experienced and professional Security Supervisor to oversee security operations at a secure corporate environment in Orangeburg, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to effectively manage officers while maintaining high security standards.

Position Details

• Location: Orangeburg, NY
• Pay Rate: $29.00/hr.
• Must be available to work the assigned schedule, including weekends and holidays as required
• Responsible for overseeing daily security operations and officer performance

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide direction to Security Officers
• Ensure all posts are properly staffed and officers are performing assigned duties
• Conduct regular inspections and monitor officer performance
• Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports
• Respond to and appropriately manage security incidents and emergencies
• Enforce site-specific policies, procedures, and post orders
• Conduct briefings and communicate important information to the security team
• Assist with training and coaching Security Officers
• Communicate effectively with client representatives and management
• Address staffing, attendance, and performance concerns as needed
• Ensure a professional and secure environment is maintained at all times

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Security Guard License REQUIRED
• High School Diploma, GED, or proof of education REQUIRED
• Previous security supervisory experience REQUIRED
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage and motivate a security team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies
• Reliable transportation to and from the assigned location
• Must be dependable, professional, and capable of working independently
