SECURITY SPECIALIST (ADMINISTRATION)

You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST (ADMINSTRATION) in the Special Security Office of the Intelligence Operations of NAVAL SEA SYSTEMS COMMAND. This is a RE-ADVERTISEMENT of Announcement Number: ST-1304-2215-26-JAS. Applicants that have previously applied NEED to re-apply to this announcement.

You will serve as the primary access control point of contact for SEA 00G.

You will ensure that only properly identified and appropriately vetted visitors gain access to the facility.

You will answer a variety of security related questions, responds to unique special security related problems and situations and other functions as required.

You will be accountable for safeguarding/control of large volumes of highly classified materials.

You will provide security policy as it relates to visitor control, proper handling, storage and transmittal procedures for classified material.

You will create office buys using the Purchase Card Request (PCR) system and Information Technology Procurement Request (ITPR).

You will issue courier cards to personnel, conducts inventory of the courier cards for inspection purposes to include all levels of material.

You will create proximity badges for access to door.

You will serve as the scheduler for meetings and conferences.
