Security Specialist (AntiTerrorism)
Summary
Oversee anti-terrorism programs: risk assessments, training, policy, and emergency protocols for a U.S. Army command.
About the Position: The incumbent will serve as the U.S. Army Service Component Command Alternate Antiterrorism (AT) Officer. Administers multiple facets of the AT program to include inspections, surveys, training, equipment, and policy development.
Prepare budget reports, financial forecasts, and expenditure projections for senior leadership and stakeholders.
Analyze budget allocations and expenditures to ensure efficient and effective use of funds in alignment with organizational priorities.
Develop communication protocols and procedures for disseminating critical information and instructions during emergencies or terrorist incidents.
Develop and/or deliver briefings, presentations, and reports to senior leadership, staff, and other stakeholders on antiterrorism threats, trends, and mitigation strategies.
Develop and/or deliver training programs for personnel at all levels within the organization.
Conduct security briefings and workshops to raise awareness of terrorism threats and mitigation strategies.
Develop and/or implement antiterrorism policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate security risks.
Develop comprehensive plans and strategies for antiterrorism programs, including risk assessments, resource allocation, and implementation timelines for commands and/or management.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats to personnel, assets, and infrastructure.
Develop and/or implement risk mitigation strategies and measures to reduce the likelihood and/or impact of terrorist attacks or other security threats.
