Security Specialist
About the Position: In this position you will serve as the Physical Security Program Manager for the Defense Health Agency located at Falls Church, Virginia. You will develop enterprise-wide physical security policy, strategic plans and standards across medical centers and facilities. A relocation incentive might be authorized. Leave accrual negotiation might be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
Develops long-range program plans, goals, objectives, and milestones to evaluate the effectiveness of the physical security program.
Directs and manages the installation physical security and electronic security systems.
Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in advising agency leadership on security matters.
Presents and defends organizational security positions at executive meetings and working groups.
Leads Staff Assistance Visits (SAV) and compliance evaluations across multi-site facilities.
Monitors, analyzes, and evaluates physical security program compliance against federal standards.
