About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is with the U.S. Special Operations Command (Army),Deputy Commanding Staff, G-2 Security Division, Information Security Branch located at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Develop policies and procedures to protect classified information.

Assist Security Managers in implementing policy and procedures.

Serve as INFOSEC/Foreign Disclosure Officer branch manager.

Advise and represent commanders on information security matters.

Provide assistance on classification problems and coordinates with the appropriate activity to resolve classification conflicts.

Take action on reports of possible compromise of classified information and security violations.

Maintain records of work accomplishment.

Direct the command security education program.
