Security Specialist

About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W6E7AA USAG VICENZA.

Serve as Program Manager or Assist in program management for one or more security programs defined by the AR-380-series regulations

Provide program oversight in direct support to all of IMCOM installations/activities.

Apply a wide range of security functional area knowledge to treat unique security problems not resolved at the installation level or by application of standard regulatory requirements.

Make decisions and initiate actions that involve the interpretation of policy or the setting of precedents.
