This position is part of the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The incumbent directs and manages Division's security program, to include oversight and administration of Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and SAP material for which division personnel have been granted access, compliance with physical, personnel, and information assurance/security regulations, and industrial security aspects as they relate to the Division's security program.

As a SECURITY STRATEGY ANALYST at the GS-0301-14 some of your typical work assignments may include: Leads and supports interagency and international study groups (Analysis Working Group, tri-chaired by OSW(CAPE), OSW(Policy), and J8) for resolving problems in collaborative security approaches, systems and programs requiring innovative solutions. Serves as the Joint Staff representative for the disposition of SAP programs and portfolios through SAP Enterprise Reform (SER). Develops, adapts and coordinates new approaches supporting collaborative multi-partner, international, multi-portfolio collaborative TS/SCI/SAP/CAP modeling, simulation and analyses. Represents the Division representative to SER actions, coordinating with stakeholders across the Department, and ensuring that Division equities are represented, and SER directives are implemented. Develops Division's security program plans; establishes Division's policies and procedures; implements and monitors Division's physical SAP security and oversees day-to-day SAP security management for Division's multi-million-dollar complex of secure spaces.
