OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE OF YOUR ROLE

As Security Supervisor, you will lead and support the daily on-the-floor operations of the security team across Bahrain Surf Park. You are responsible for safeguarding guests, staff, contractors, and physical assets across all park zones, including entry gates, the surf lagoon, retail venues, F&B outlets, offices, and parking grounds.

Reporting directly to the Security Manager, you play a critical operational role in ensuring shift coverage, conducting routine guard post inspections, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding promptly to emergency or safety incidents. Leading by example on the floor, you will foster a welcoming, safe, and family-friendly environment that embodies the Aloha Spirit while upholding firm security and loss prevention standards.


ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Security Leadership & Operations Management

  • Strategic Security Oversight: Develop, implement, and review comprehensive park-wide security policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), emergency response plans, and risk assessments.
  • Team & Vendor Management: Direct and supervise internal security supervisors/guards and third-party security contracted personnel, ensuring proper shift scheduling, deployment, post checks, and performance auditing.
  • Perimeter & Access Control: Oversee security checkpoints, guest entry gates, VIP turnstiles, vehicular access, delivery docks, and staff access control systems.
  • Crowd Management: Plan and execute security protocols for high-capacity operational days, VIP visits, major corporate events, surf competitions, and public gatherings.

Systems, Surveillance & Loss Prevention

  • CCTV & Technology Management: Monitor and maintain the park's surveillance network, alarms, and electronic access systems, ensuring maximum uptime and data compliance.
  • Loss Prevention & Asset Protection: Implement proactive measures to prevent theft, vandalism, unauthorized entry, trespass, and inventory shrinkage across retail, storehouses, and cash handling areas.
  • Investigation & Reporting: Conduct formal internal investigations into security breaches, theft, property damage, accidents, or misconduct, delivering thorough reports and actionable recommendations to executive leadership.

Emergency Preparedness, Health & Safety

  • Crisis & Incident Response: Act as the primary Incident Commander during facility emergencies, security threats, severe weather events, or evacuation scenarios.
  • Safety Drills & Training: Coordinate routine emergency drills (evacuation, fire safety, lockdown, medical emergencies) in partnership with Lifeguards, Operations, and Health & Safety teams.
  • Government Liaison: Serve as the primary liaison with local government agencies, Ministry of Interior (MOI), Police, Civil Defence, and traffic authorities to ensure strict legal and statutory compliance.

Team Development & Training

  • Security Training: Conduct continuous physical security, de-escalation, conflict resolution, first aid, and customer care training for the security team.
  • Culture Alignment: Ensure all security staff embody the "Aloha Spirit," maintaining an approachable, professional, and guest-friendly demeanor while upholding firm safety standards.




Qualifications


  • High School Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Criminology, or related field (preferred).
  • Recognized security certification or local MOI security approval (required).
  • Valid First Aid, CPR, and Fire Safety certifications (preferred).
  • Fluent Arabic and English speaker (required).

Experience


  • Minimum of 3 to 4 years of professional security experience, with at least 1 year in a senior security guard, team lead, or supervisory role.
  • Experience in leisure, tourism, theme parks, high-end hospitality, shopping malls, or large public event venues (preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in operating CCTV equipment, radio communications, access control systems, and incident reporting.

  • Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and active de-escalation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Sound judgment and decisive decision-making abilities under physical or operational pressure.
  • Good observational skills, keen eye for detail, and strong report-writing capability.

  • Shift Post Coverage: 100% adherence to guard post allocations and zero unassigned security posts during operational hours.
  • Incident Response Time: Maintain an average physical response time under 3 minutes to any incident call on park grounds.
  • Reporting Accuracy: 100% accurate, complete, and timely submission of daily shift logs and incident reports.
  • Audit Compliance: Achieve a minimum of 90% compliance on routine post-inspection and security protocol audits.
  • Customer Interaction: Positive guest ratings regarding security team helpfulness, professionalism, and safety presence.
