Semi-Liquid Fund Structurer
Job Description
Shape our next generation of semi-liquid fund offerings. As investor demand for flexible access to private market asset classes grows, we are expanding our suite of semi-liquid (aka evergreen/hybrid) products – open-ended vehicles that package illiquid assets into investor-friendly structures offering periodic redemption liquidity. In this role, you will lead the design, structuring, and delivery of these innovative solutions, driving projects from concept to launch and continuously enhancing our product lineup. You’ll orchestrate internal and external stakeholders to deliver scalable, robust offerings that align with market expectations.
Participate as a key stakeholder in initial product development, including structure selection, liquidity mechanics, dealing terms, pricing and valuation approaches, governance, and documentation strategy;
Design and implement structuring solutions that meet specific investor, legal, regulatory, and tax requirements across jurisdictions; champion scalability, and operational resilience. Steer technical and operational design;
Lead cross‑functional project delivery—from concept to launch—coordinating with investment management, client relationship management, middle‑office/operations, risk & compliance, and legal; set clear milestones and drive decisions;
Negotiate commercial and legal agreements with investors, law firms, administrators, banks, brokers, custodians/depositaries and other service providers; manage service‑level expectations and economics;
Continuously enhance existing product suite by iterating terms, processes, and investor communications, including ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance.
Requirements
5-10 years proven experience in product/investment structuring for private markets or alternatives, with a proven track record in semi‑liquid/evergreen fund models (interval/tender‑offer style or equivalent). Experience translating complex requirements into implementable vehicle designs is key;
Independent, hands‑on operator who sets direction and delivers and is comfortable shaping new offerings with minimal supervision and high ownership;
Sharp project leadership and problem‑solving skills; able to frame issues crisply, assess trade‑offs and drive decisions and consensus across a diverse stakeholder group;
Seasoned negotiator of commercial/legal agreements with investors and external providers; confident managing key service providers like administrators, depositaries/custodians, banks, brokers, legal counsel and auditors;
Excellent communicator—can explain complex concepts verbally and in written / presentation form clearly to varied audiences; fluent in English (additional languages advantageous);
University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Law (advanced credentials welcome);
Experience with Luxembourg‑domiciled funds and their operational ecosystems would be a plus.
