About the job Semiconductor Fab Automation Engineer (MES | IoT)Responsibilities:- Collaborate with vendors to evaluate, configure, and deploy communication systems between MES, semiconductor tools, and AMR.
- Design and develop intuitive web-based interfaces for system monitoring, operational control, and user interaction.
- Generate automated reports, dashboards, analytics, and alerts to support real-time decision-making.
- Conduct data integrity checks, implement automated failure alerts, troubleshoot system issues, and enhance automation frameworks.
- Develop and maintain IoT automation systems for equipment data collection, cleaning, restructuring, and storage.
- Create operator and equipment interfaces to streamline digital data entry.
Requirements:
- Degree in Microelectronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Familiarity with MES systems, SECS/GEM protocols, and AMHS is a plus.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in MES system administration, semiconductor process modules, equipment engineering, or digital transformation/automation.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and vendors.
- Knowledge of IoT integration, data analytics, and industrial automation principles.
