Job Responsibilities

  • Characterise new semiconductor designs across different temperature conditions and verify that all parameters meet specifications.
  • Conduct product feasibility studies and develop test-plan solutions for Wafer Sort and Final Test.
  • Debug and perform root-cause analysis of product and design issues.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Analyse high-volume test data from Wafer Sort and Final Test.
  • Establish test limits and screening specifications to identify defective devices.
  • Develop, optimise and debug semiconductor test programs.
  • Perform device-level characterisation using appropriate laboratory equipment.
  • Support product qualification, reliability testing, yield improvement and production ramp-up activities.
  • Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in semiconductor product engineering, test engineering or device characterisation.
  • Strong knowledge of analog, digital, mixed-signal, power-management or RF circuit analysis.
  • Experience in wafer sort, final testing, statistical data analysis and root-cause investigation.
  • Familiarity with Power Management IC measurement techniques, including line/load regulation, PSRR, transition time, power efficiency, jitter or phase noise.
  • Able to use laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, source meters, battery emulators and spectrum analysers.
  • Experience with LabVIEW, Teradyne IFlex/UFlex or Advantest 93K ATE will be advantageous.
  • Programming knowledge in VB, Perl, Java or other relevant languages will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of statistical process control, quality systems or Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
  • Candidates must be able to work legally in Singapore.
