Semiconductor Technician/Engineer
About the role
2JK Semicon Pte Ltd (now rebranded to Koin Semi Pte Ltd), a leading semiconductor manufacturer, is seeking a talented Semiconductor Technician/Engineer to join our team in the North Region. As a Semiconductor Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our state-of-the-art semiconductor production facilities. This full-time position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic and innovative environment.
What you'll be doing
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of semiconductor production equipment
Conduct preventive maintenance checks and implement appropriate corrective actions to ensure optimal equipment performance
Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement process improvements
Collect and analyze equipment data to identify trends and potential issues
Participate in the installation and calibration of new equipment
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Monitor, analyze and address SPC issues for area process on a daily basis and respond to SPC out of control issues.
Write up daily reports and carry out any other necessary tasks delegated by the supervising engineer.
Support ad-hoc activities assigned from time to time.
What we're looking for
Minimum 1 years of experience as a Semiconductor Technician or in a related role within the semiconductor industry
Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Commitment to safety and attention to detail
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
