SEN Education and Engagement Specialist

We're looking for proactive and person-centered education professionals to plan and deliver personalised learning sessions that spark curiosity, confidence and a sense of hope for our young people who are out of mainstream education. - Providing 1:1 or 2:1 support to children and young people in their homes or a suitable public setting
- Delivering personalised, creative sessions that reflect each learner’s needs, interests and abilities
- Monitoring and reporting on student progress after each session and setting clear, achievable targets to support ongoing development
- Conducting risk assessments and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed
- Working flexibly (on a bank staff contract) and term-time only, with sessions typically lasting 3 to 5 hours during the school day
- Education professionals with at least one year experience supporting children and young people with SEN and SEMH needs, including challenging behaviours
- Those from Secondary or Post-16 backgrounds, including specialist SEND settings (experience with Makaton, PECS and behaviour support is an advantage)
- Individuals with a minimum of 2 consistent weekdays of availability
- Professionals with up-to-date understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- £25–£35 per hour, depending on experience
